Responsibilities
- Overall delivery of the audit engagement that you lead.
- Develop connections and take ownership to deliver value for people and stakeholders.
- Manage client relations with senior management, including delivering presentations / pitches to boards of directors, audit committees, and prospective clients.
- Oversee engagement completion, provide support and training on technical issues / methodologies, budget adherence, and engagement deadlines.
- Identify market gaps and opportunities in Assurance; cross-sell other loss of service area opportunities to meet client needs.
- Ensure compliance with risk, quality, and independence matters.
- Arrange and sponsor assignments to help people realise potential and support long-term aspirations.
- Scale efficiencies and new ways of working across multiple projects.
- Assist partners in managing portfolio economics : monitor budget, follow up on billing, collections, and profitability.
- Participate in recruitment processes to interview and select suitable candidates per PwC standards.
- Support Middle East people initiatives and execute action plans from people feedback surveys.
- Foster an environment where people and technology thrive together.
- Contribute to people development by delivering training sessions per the L&D curriculum.
- Coach, mentor, and develop team members reporting to you.
- Promote and value diversity in teams.
Qualifications
A degree in accounting, finance or related field.Minimum of 10+ years of professional experience in external financial audit, ideally with a Big 4 firm.Completed recognized professional qualifications (ACCA, CA, ACA, CPA).Experience in auditing Banking / Insurance clients is an asset.Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for teamwork.Arabic and English bilingual proficiency is a plus.Knowledge of ISAs and IFRS relevant to financial services (e.g., IFRS9, IFRS17) and related regulations.Strong project management skills; experience managing an audit from planning to completion.Ability to challenge and drive high-quality testing and documentation.Ability to establish and nurture relationships at all levels.Ability to drive innovative thinking and support change and uncertainty.Experience fostering collaborative teams and resolving issues quickly.Commitment to self-development, agility, and innovation in a digital world.Knowledge of Audit technologies and Data Analytics tools.Benefits
