The Flexo Machine Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining flexographic printing machines to produce high-quality printed materials. The operator ensures the machine runs smoothly and efficiently while adhering to safety and quality standards. Responsibilities

Machine Operation

Set up and operate narrow web flexographic printing machines, including the MPS EP. Adjust machine settings to achieve desired print quality and specifications. Monitor the printing process to ensure consistent quality.

Pre-Press Preparation

Prepare and mount flexographic printing plates. Mix and match inks to meet color specifications. Select and prepare substrates for printing.

Quality Control

Perform regular quality checks on printed materials. Ensure color accuracy and consistency. Identify and correct any defects or printing issues.

Maintenance and Troubleshooting

Perform routine maintenance on the flexographic printing machine. Troubleshoot and resolve any mechanical or technical issues. Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Documentation and Reporting

Maintain accurate records of production runs and machine settings. Report any issues or discrepancies to the supervisor. Complete daily production logs and quality control reports.

Safety and Compliance

Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.

Skills

Strong attention to detail and quality control. Proficiency in color matching and ink mixing. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues. Good communication and teamwork skills. Education
