Fund Operations Associate - Private Debt

Position Summary :
We are seeking an experienced and motivated "Associate, Fund Operations - Private Debt" to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in processing loans for our inaugural Private Debt fund, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and excellence in service delivery.
Key Responsibilities :
1) Operational Management :
- Process day-to-day fund investor transactions, including subscriptions, distributions, and redemptions.
- Process borrower drawdown requests, profit and principal payments.
- Monitor covenant compliance and reporting triggers.
- Monitor collateral and security.
2) Process Improvement :
Identify, recommend, and implement process enhancements to improve operational efficiency.Develop and document standard operating procedures for fund operations and credit risk management.3) Cross-Functional Collaboration :
Work closely with investment teams, legal, compliance, and finance departments.Support the compliance team particularly in ensuring all fund activities comply with relevant regulations and internal policies.Support in preparing and submitting regulatory filings and reports (including investor reports and newsletters) as required.Required Skills & Qualifications :
1) Experience :
3-5 years of experience in commercial credit operations and administration, preferably within financial services, banking, insurance.Hands‑on experience with loan processing and servicing, including loan documentation, disbursements, and repayments.Preference for demonstrated experience in fund operations, including capital calls, distributions.Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements related to credit operations, such as AML / KYC regulations and credit risk guidelines.2) Skills :
Strong analytical skillsAdvanced proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel (i.e. financial modeling and reporting instrumentation).Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Demonstrated ability to improve processes and increase operational efficiency.High level of integrity and ethical standards.Adaptability and eagerness to learn new skills, especially in finance and credit risk.3) Education :
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields.Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., MBA, CFA, FRM) are a plus but not mandatory.Employment Type
