HCO employs a diverse range of architectural, engineering, planning, and consultancy professionals, allowing them to offer a "one-stop solution" for their clients' project needs throughout the entire lifecycle. HCO works on a wide range of project types, including residential, commercial, industrial, hospitality, retail, and healthcare.

We are currently seeking a Senior Civil / Architect Engineer to join our team for a prestigious heritage development project in AlUla . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil or architectural engineering and a proven track record working on heritage, cultural, or conservation-focused projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate civil and architectural works related to heritage site development.
  • Review and validate design documentation to ensure compliance with heritage conservation standards and client requirements.
  • Provide technical input on materials, construction methods, and restoration techniques suitable for sensitive heritage environments.
  • Coordinate with heritage consultants, architects, and other disciplines to ensure successful integration of modern engineering with traditional techniques.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and adherence to safety and heritage guidelines.
  • Support in the preparation of reports, technical submittals, and documentation required for approvals and regulatory compliance.
  • Act as a key technical advisor for construction teams and provide solutions for site-specific challenges, especially in historically significant or sensitive areas.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 12–15 years of experience in the construction and engineering sector.
  • Demonstrated experience working on heritage, conservation, or cultural site projects is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of traditional building techniques, local materials, and conservation best practices.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and team coordination skills.
