Platform Engineer We’re looking for a skilled and forward-thinking

Platform Engineer

to join our IT department. This role is responsible for ensuring the performance, security, and stability of our infrastructure environment—spanning both on-premise servers and modern cloud-based solutions. You’ll collaborate with developers and IT professionals to build a seamless and robust IT ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement scalable server solutions across on-premise, cloud, and hybrid environments

Manage server hardware and software (Windows & Linux)

Administer Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange, ensuring security and compliance

Provision and manage cloud resources on platforms like Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

Implement and manage virtualization technologies (Hyper-V, Nutanix AHV, VMware)

Develop and maintain backup and disaster recovery strategies

Collaborate with DevOps, software development, and networking teams to resolve complex issues

Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions

Maintain detailed documentation of server architecture and procedures

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field

3+ years of experience in platform engineering or similar roles

Certifications from Microsoft, Redhat, Oracle, or Google are a strong plus

Strong understanding of infrastructure design, cloud platforms, and virtualization

Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills
