Contract Manager

Roles and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, negotiate, and amend contracts for civil works, public procurement, and other commercial agreements.
- Lead communications, notices, and claims with customers and suppliers.
- Maintain strong partnerships with Project Management and Supply Chain teams.
- Ensure all contracts comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of all contract‑related documents and communications.
- Identify potential risks and opportunities in contract terms and conditions.
- Develop strategies to mitigate contractual risks.
- Monitor compliance with contractual obligations and address issues such as planning deviations, performance gaps, budget overruns, and scope creep.
- Collaborate with legal, finance, engineering, and project management teams to ensure understanding and adherence to contract terms.
- Serve as primary contact for contract inquiries, claims management, and disputes.
- Coordinate with consortium / joint venture partners and channels.
- Continuously improve contract management processes, policies, and procedures.
- Enhance claim risk tracker reporting to improve customer claim monitoring and vendor flow‑down.
- Train project teams on best practices in contract management.
- Prepare reports on contract status, compliance, and performance.
- Analyze contract data to identify trends and improvement areas.
- Lead contract reviews.
Required Qualifications
Master’s degree in Business Administration, Law, or related field.Minimum 10 years of experience in contract management or similar roles, preferably in an international context.Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations (including EHS) in Saudi Arabia.Arabic language proficiency is required.Certifications such as CPCM, CIPS, and FIDIC knowledge are valued.Familiarity with international laws and treaties like CISG.Desired Characteristics
Experience with construction projects in the Middle East.Experience with industrial equipment and systems (oil & gas, industry, marine).Strong negotiation, analytical, and synthetic skills.Deep understanding of contract law and legal terminology.Excellent negotiation and communication skills.Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.Additional Information
