Networks and Information Security Director
Responsibilities
- Participate in the development of the Digital Infrastructure & Operations strategy.
- Prepare the operational plan for the Networks & Information Security Department in line with the overall IT strategy.
- Develop and monitor performance indicators to measure progress and effectiveness.
- Hold regular meetings with senior management to report on progress and challenges.
- Ensure operational plans are communicated and well understood by relevant stakeholders.
- Stay updated on best practices and ensure their application.
- Recommend the optimal organizational structure for effective operations and define required resources.
- Participate in preparing the annual budget in alignment with plans and operational needs.
- Develop and enhance policies, procedures, models, and tools for automation in coordination with stakeholders.
- Support the implementation of monitoring systems and prepare compliance and performance reports.
- Take operational decisions related to networks and security management or escalate when required.
Operational Management
Supervise and ensure the readiness and efficiency of the Bank’s networks and communication infrastructure across all sites and branches.Lead operations of enterprise security systems including firewalls, protection systems, monitoring, and alerting tools.Monitor network performance and address technical failures and outages immediately to ensure service continuity.Oversee security testing of partial modifications in the operational environment and report results to concerned entities.Coordinate with Information Security to ensure compliance with security policies and implement corrective measures as needed.Approve maintenance schedules for network and security components to ensure stability and compliance with standards.Provide operational support to teams on communication infrastructure and approved security tools.Monitor network behavior via the operations center, document exceptional activities, and analyze them.Follow up on security alerts from monitoring systems and take immediate action to mitigate risks.Document security incidents and violations, sharing them with management for assessment and decision-making.Oversee preparation of operational reports detailing network status, incidents, and availability levels.Supervise preparation of technical reports on security tests and compliance levels with defined policies.Qualifications & Requirements
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
Experience : 10+ years of relevant experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
