Job Title : Managing Director - Digital Commerce (Ecommerce)

Role Overview
The Managing Director (MD) will lead the company’s growth, operational excellence, and digital transformation agenda. Responsible for strategic execution, profitability, and stakeholder alignment, the MD will drive expansion, innovation, and sustainable performance while ensuring full transparency and accountability to the Board of Directors.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Define and execute long-term business and digital strategies aligned with market trends.
- Expand into new product categories, markets, and digital channels.
- Build strategic alliances with suppliers, brands, and technology partners.
Operations & Performance
Oversee marketplace operations, logistics, and customer experience.Use analytics to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service quality.Ensure scalable processes to support business growth and peak demand.Technology & Innovation
Champion adoption of AI, automation, and digital tools to enhance competitiveness.Lead product innovation, UX enhancement, and platform development.Foster a culture of agility, innovation, and continuous improvement.Financial Management
Manage P&L, budgets, and investments to achieve profitability and ROI.Drive growth in GMV, market share, and customer retention.Ensure effective cost control and resource utilization.People & Culture
Lead and mentor cross-functional teams to build a high-performance culture.Strengthen leadership pipelines and implement succession planning.Governance & Risk Management
Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and governance standards.Oversee risk mitigation in financial, operational, and cybersecurity areas.Safeguard ethical conduct, data security, and customer trust.Stakeholder Relations
Serve as the key liaison for shareholders, investors, and strategic partners.Provide transparent performance reports and business updates to the Board.Brand & ESG
Oversee marketing, branding, and customer engagement initiatives.Champion sustainability, CSR, and ESG programs aligned with global standards.Skills
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s or Master’s in Business, Management, or related field (MBA preferred).15+ years of leadership experience, including 5+ years in senior executive roles within e-commerce, retail, or digital industries.Proven track record in scaling businesses, P&L ownership, and digital transformation.Strong commercial acumen and stakeholder management skills.Deep understanding of Saudi and GCC markets.#J-18808-Ljbffr
