Director of Commercial

We are seeking a visionary and results-driven Director of Sales and Marketing to join our prestigious hotel in Makkah Saudi Arabia. This exciting role offers a unique opportunity to lead our sales and marketing efforts in one of the worlds most significant pilgrimage destinations. The successful candidate will spearhead our revenue growth strategies enhance our brand visibility and drive customer engagement in this dynamic market.

• Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to maximise revenue occupancy rates and market share
• Lead and mentor a high-performing sales and marketing team fostering a culture of excellence and innovation
• Analyse market trends competitor activities and guest preferences to inform strategic decision-making and capitalise on emerging opportunities
• Manage the sales marketing and distribution budget effectively ensuring optimal return on investment
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with key corporate MICE and leisure accounts to secure new business and achieve sales targets
• Oversee the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns that align with our brand standards and resonate with our target audience
• Direct the digital marketing strategy including website optimisation social media presence and online advertising initiatives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance guest experiences and strengthen customer loyalty
• Represent the hotel at industry events trade shows and presentations to drive customer engagement and brand awareness
• Monitor and analyse sales and marketing performance through regular reporting and KPI tracking
• Ensure all sales and marketing initiatives are culturally sensitive and appropriate for the local market in Makkah
