Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic to maintain, diagnose, and repair diesel engines and mechanical systems in heavy vehicles and equipment such as trucks, buses, cranes, and construction machinery. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to ensure vehicles operate safely and efficiently in compliance with industry standards.

Main Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical and engine faults in heavy diesel vehicles and equipment using appropriate diagnostic tools and techniques.
• Perform preventive maintenance, overhauls, and repairs on diesel engines, gearboxes, clutches, braking systems, hydraulics, and cooling systems.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Repair or replace faulty parts such as fuel systems, exhaust systems, turbochargers, and transmission components.
• Maintain and service hydraulic systems and pneumatic components.
• Interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer specifications for repair procedures.
• Maintain accurate service records and prepare maintenance reports.
• Ensure all repair work meets safety, quality, and regulatory compliance standards.
• Collaborate with supervisors, fleet managers, and other technicians for efficient workflow.
• Stay updated on the latest repair techniques, tools, and equipment in heavy diesel mechanics.
