Overview

Join to apply for the Senior Process Engineer role at WSP in the Middle East . We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Process Engineer with strong expertise in water, wastewater, and biosolids treatment. The role involves designing and optimising treatment processes, facilitating HAZOP studies, and supporting delivery of large-scale infrastructure projects in Riyadh.

Responsibilities

Lead process design for water and wastewater treatment plants (PFDs, P&IDs, mass balances, specifications).
Deliver projects to agreed cost, quality, and schedule targets.
Conduct HAZOP / SWIFT workshops and risk assessments.
Support commissioning and optimisation of treatment facilities (AD, AAD, THP, liquor treatment, biogas).
Collaborate with clients, contractors, and supply chain partners.
Mentor and guide junior engineers.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering; Master’s preferred.

Chartered Engineer (CEng, IChemE or equivalent).

15+ years in water / wastewater and biosolids engineering.

Proven expertise in anaerobic digestion, THP, liquor treatment, and biosolids optimisation.

Strong project management and leadership skills.

Skills

Strong client-facing and communication skills.
