IT Manager - Fox Pro Specialist

A large Industrial and Manufacturing facility is in need of an Experienced IT Manager. Responsibilities include :

• Day-to-day management of the IT departmental team.
• Providing full reporting on all IT related services and issues in a timely manner to various senior managers.
• Ensuring the availability of company systems to assigned users.
• Maintaining hardware to satisfy corporate needs, either through internal skills or sourced ones.
• Maintaining security and privacy of information systems, communication lines, and equipment.
• Overseeing the development, design, and implementation of new applications and changes to existing systems and software packages.
• Developing, reviewing, and certifying all backups and disaster recovery procedures and plans, keeping IT systems fully active in such events.
• Assessing current and future technology needs, including short and long-term project planning.
• Establishing IT departmental operating metrics, staffing needs, budgeting, vendor selection, networks, telephones, and tracking devices for sales representatives.
• Ensuring corporate IT systems are protected by valid anti-virus software and firewalls, in compliance with agreed protocols.
• Reviewing and updating the corporate IT security policy with management as needed.
• Designing the issuance of reports and gradually developing the corporate into paperless operations.
• Ensuring delivered services meet output specifications and service response times.

Job Specification

Minimum 5-7 years experience in an IT managerial role. Qualifications include :
