Job Description & Summary
The Treasury specialist is responsible for day‑to‑day Treasury operations, managing debt, intercompany funding, and bank guarantees, as well as monitoring covenants, ensuring transaction accuracy, and supporting external audits. The role also focuses on optimizing working capital, improving cash flow forecasting, and implementing Treasury Management Solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake day‑to‑day treasury operations including bank account management, mandates, online banking, and annual KYC review.
- Participate in new debt issuance and manage existing debt.
- Track and manage intercompany funding and Middle Eastern bank guarantees (retrieval & reporting).
- Monitor and report on covenants and undertakings.
- Liaise with accounting and internal audit to ensure accurate Treasury transaction histories and audit trails.
- Support the Finance team with external audit requirements related to Treasury.
- Assist the Middle Eastern Treasurer in special projects as required.
- Review the Middle Eastern financial position relative to near‑term debt maturities and recommend financing plans.
- Manage the cash position and recommend short‑term investments.
- Optimize working capital and improve cash flow forecasting with accurate, timely forecasts.
- Lead the development and implementation of Treasury Management Solutions (TMS) for the Middle East.
- Manage bank guarantees in all countries except KSA (issuance & retrieval).
- Administer Middle Eastern banking and payment systems and controls.
- Book and execute FX deals.
- Manage daily cash flow and identify regional funding requirements.
- Conduct daily reconciliations in the TMS.
- Manage new and existing bank accounts, ensuring signatories are updated per the Delegation Authority Matrix and monitor bank costs.
- Support treasury operations in KSA, including banks, mandates, online banking, and annual KYC review.
- Perform any additional duties assigned by your manager.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of relevant Treasury or finance experience.Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.Proficiency in English; Arabic preferred.Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Adaptability and proactive mindset.Attention to detail and commitment to ethical standards.Willingness to engage in continuous learning.Required Skills
