Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing comprehensive monthly reports of the financial results of the hotel in established corporate formats and in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
• Ensure all local, state / provincial and national taxes are deposited timely, and all related reports are filed on a timely basis.
• Prepare accrued & prepaid expenses schedules and recurring journal vouchers.
• Prepare depreciation & amortization schedules and recurring journals.
• Post all journal vouchers to accounting system.
• Review and analyze actual to budget variances and report to the Chief Accountant.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis; any reconciling items should be cleared monthly.
• Assist with annual budget preparation as assigned by Director Finance Business Partner.
