Lead the identification and planning of potential capital projects within the branches. Assess feasibility meticulously, considering financial, logistical, and strategic dimensions to make informed decisions. Take the lead in initiating projects that seamlessly align with the strategic objectives, ensuring cohesive organizational direction. Duties and Responsibilities
Project Identification and Planning : Lead the comprehensive identification of potential capital projects within the branches. Evaluate feasibility of each project, considering financial, logistical, and strategic aspects. Conduct thorough market research to assess demand and competition for proposed projects with support of Strategic Management. Coordinate with external consultants and experts during project initiation and planning phases. Define capital project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and budgetary considerations. Feasibility Analysis : Evaluate the feasibility of potential capital projects, addressing factors such as cost, resource and time requirements, risk, and financial and non-financial return considerations. Identify potential challenges within the proposed capital projects and define mitigation plans. Engage with financial analysts to assess the financial viability of proposed projects. Ensure all regulatory and compliance aspects are considered during feasibility assessment. Project Initiation and Monitoring : Launch approved projects, ensuring coordination with branch and HQ teams and external partners, as applicable, to ensure efficient project execution. In coordination with the construction manager, monitor project progress against timeline, key milestones, budget, and other considerations. In coordination with the construction manager, prepare periodic reports highlighting the status of capital projects, covering progress and key achievements, challenges, and other important areas to support informed decision making. Stakeholder Communication and Continuous Improvement : Actively seek and manage relationships with external companies for specialized support. Foster partnerships with external firms to leverage their expertise in specific project domains. Collaborate closely with the Strategic Management team to commission comprehensive market research, crucial for understanding demand and competition. Collaborate with finance and general procurement teams to allocate efficient project budgets. Gather feedback from project and internal stakeholders to continuously improve processes. Qualifications / Requirements Knowledge and Experience : Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience. Education : Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, business administration, or a related field.
