Manufacturing Technologist

Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Manufacturing Technologist to support the development, implementation, and optimization of manufacturing processes. The successful candidate will work closely with engineering and production teams to ensure that products are manufactured efficiently, cost-effectively, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities :

Develop, test, and implement new or improved manufacturing processes and techniques.

Analyze production workflows and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and product quality.

Assist in designing, modifying, and maintaining manufacturing equipment and tools.

Support production teams in troubleshooting process or equipment issues.

Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of processes, procedures, and work instructions.

Monitor production metrics and provide reports on quality, output, and efficiency.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality assurance, and maintenance, to ensure smooth production operations.

Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations in all manufacturing activities.

Provide training and technical support to production staff on new equipment and processes.

Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in manufacturing.

Requirements :

Bachelors degree in Manufacturing Technology, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

Proven experience in a manufacturing or production environment.

Strong technical knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and materials.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Proficiency with CAD software and manufacturing-related tools is an advantage.

Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Detail-oriented with strong documentation and organizational skills.

Understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
