Job Description :

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Design Engineer (Process Mech) - Polishing plant / wastewater to join our team! In this role you will get to design and integration of a building's physical infrastructure, from foundations and structural supports to architectural elements, ensuring compliance with codes, safety, and client requirements throughout a project's lifecycle.

What You'll Be Doing :

• Create mechanical components, machinery, and entire process systems for industrial applications.
• Ensure materials and energy are used efficiently in a production process by designing optimal equipment and workflows.
• Identify and select appropriate materials for process equipment and components, considering factors like durability, cost, and performance.
• Utilize CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) to create detailed technical drawings and simulations for manufacturing.
• Design and conduct tests on prototypes and existing processes to identify issues and improve performance.
• Work with other engineers, clients, and manufacturing teams to ensure designs are feasible, cost-effective, and meet project requirements.
