The Health Physics Consultant performs advanced level activities of the implementation, coordination, and day-to-day of the radiation safety program in all JHAH facilities. Directly works as a Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) / Health physicist.

Qualifications
Master degree in health physics, medical physics, radiation physics or nuclear engineering, from an accredited universityPhD in health physics, medical physics, radiation physics or nuclear engineering from an accredited university is preferred
Professional Certifications Required
Radiation Safety Officer license from Nuclear and Radiological Regulatory Commission (NRRC) in different health practices.U.S. board certification American Board of Medical Physics (ABMP) or American Board of Health Physics (ABHP) is preferred.
Years of Experience
Minimum 20 years of direct experience in (healthcare based) health physics and radiation safety, (15 years post Master)
Languages
English : Fully Proficient ; Arabic : Fully Proficient
