Job description

Overview

We are partnering with a well-established company in Saudi Arabia . They specialize in energy and infrastructure projects. They provide services including EPC contracting, pipeline and pump solutions, offshore and onshore survey services, and engineering solutions.

Currently, they are looking for a Contract Administrator to join their team in Al Khobar and play a pivotal role in contract management and administration.

Responsibilities

  • 1. Contract Management :

Draft, review, and negotiate contracts for EPC projects, ensuring compliance with company policies, Aramco's guidelines, and legal requirements.

  • Administer and manage all stages of the contract lifecycle, from initiation through execution to closure.
  • Monitor contract performance, ensuring adherence to terms and timelines while identifying and addressing any issues or discrepancies.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of all contracts, amendments, and correspondence.
  • 2. Compliance & Documentation :
  • Ensure that all project documentation complies with Aramco's requirements, regulations, and quality standards.

  • Ensure proper contract execution in alignment with local and international legal frameworks.
  • Prepare and review contractual correspondence to ensure legal and financial protection for the company.
  • Assess and manage contract claims, change orders, variations, and delays related to EPC projects.
  • Collaborate with project management teams and other stakeholders to resolve disputes efficiently, in accordance with Aramco's contract policies and procedures.
  • Provide recommendations for corrective actions or solutions to mitigate risks and prevent disputes.
  • 4. Stakeholder Coordination :
  • Collaborate with internal teams (legal, procurement, finance, project management) to ensure smooth contract execution.

  • Interface with external stakeholders, including suppliers, subcontractors, and Aramco representatives, to manage contract terms and deliverables.
  • Ensure seamless communication between the project team and Aramco's contract management team.
  • 5. Reporting & Performance Monitoring :
  • Provide regular updates and reports on contract status, risks, and compliance to senior management.

  • Monitor contract performance to ensure deadlines and budgets are met, identifying potential delays or overruns early.
  • Assist with audits and evaluations of contract performance.
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in contract administration within EPC projects, specifically with Saudi Aramco or similar large-scale organizations.
  • Proven experience in handling complex, high-value contracts for construction, engineering, and procurement projects.
  • Familiarity with Saudi Aramco's standard contracts, procurement processes, and project delivery frameworks.
  • Knowledge of Aramco's quality control, health, safety, and environmental standards.
