Assistant Manager - External Programs & Policies
The organization is a flagship gigaproject under Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 initiative, aiming to create a world-class entertainment, cultural, and lifestyle destination. As a multibillion-dollar project, it encompasses infrastructure development, hospitality, retail, and service sectors, requiring robust procurement compliance management.
The Manager - External Programs & Policies supports the implementation and oversight of external regulatory and strategic initiatives. Key responsibilities include facilitating local content adoption, managing supplier development programs, ensuring compliance with regional requirements, and aligning with government mandates such as ESG. The role involves collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to foster relationships, drive compliance, and support strategic objectives.
- Strategic Initiative Support : Develop and execute strategies for local content, ESG principles, and supplier development aligned with PIF, national, and organizational goals. Identify risks, non-compliance areas, and opportunities for improvement.
- Policy Monitoring : Monitor changes in government policies, assess impacts, and adjust strategies proactively.
- Reporting : Maintain detailed reports on local content, ESG, and regulatory compliance.
- Template Updates : Update business templates to reflect local content and ESG regulations.
- Training Support : Support internal procurement training on government programs and policies.
- Performance Metrics : Develop and refine KPIs to monitor and improve performance against LC and ESG criteria.
- Supplier Development : Support programs to enhance local suppliers' capabilities and competitiveness, collaborating with external stakeholders including PIF and government agencies.
- Stakeholder Liaison : Collaborate with internal teams to implement content and ESG requirements, prepare for audits, and ensure compliance.
- External Relations : Foster relationships with PIF, government bodies, and other entities to support compliance and strategic goals.
- Audit Support : Assist in planning and executing PIF audits, develop corrective actions, and track improvements.
- On-site Work : Spend time working in Riyadh and at Qiddiya to promote implementation of policies within Business Units.
Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Public Policy, International Development, Business, or related fields.Preferred : CIPS, CPSM, or CSCP certifications.Proven experience in cross-collaborative environments aligning goals with organizational strategy.Fluency in English required; proficiency in Arabic highly desirable.Understanding of Saudi Arabia's cultural and business landscape preferred.#J-18808-Ljbffr
