Assistant Project Manager

Assistant Project Manager – Property & Buildings – WSP based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

We are seeking a skilled Assistant Project Manager with a background in architecture or engineering design to join our Integrated Design Leadership team within the Property & Buildings department. This role offers the opportunity to work on high‑profile projects, supporting the delivery of innovative and sustainable design solutions from concept to construction.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning, coordination and execution of large, complex design projects.
• Understand the project contract, scope, and deliverables to ensure accurate execution.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary design and delivery teams to ensure alignment with project requirements and timelines.
• Communicate updates, actions and priorities to the project team effectively and efficiently.
• Support the project lead in communications with the client and stakeholders.
• Support delivery against the project programme, working with disciplines to ensure collaborative updates and accurate resource allocation.
• Review design outputs to ensure they meet quality standards and project specifications.
• Support coordination with internal teams and authorities to ensure alignment and approvals.
• Provide regular updates on project progress, risks, and issues to the Project Manager.
• Participate in project and team meetings, contributing to collaborative problem‑solving and decision‑making.
• Support the delivery of the Business Unit strategy, including sustainability and innovation goals.
• Identify and report business development opportunities and client engagement prospects.
• Stay current with technical developments and best practices in architecture and engineering.
