Job description
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into Odoo functional specifications.
  • Map business processes to Odoo modules (e.g., Sales, Purchase, Inventory , Accounting , HR, CRM, Project , Manufacturing , etc.).
  • Configure and customize standard Odoo modules to match client needs.
  • Conduct gap analysis and provide process improvement suggestions.
  • Deliver training sessions to end-users and key stakeholders.
  • Prepare functional documentation, flowcharts, test scripts, and training materials.

    • Technical Responsibilities :

    • Integrate Odoo with third-party applications and APIs (e.g., payment gateways, WhatsApp, e-commerce platforms).
    • Troubleshoot and resolve functional and technical issues.
    • Participate in upgrades, data migrations, and performance tuning.
    • Maintain source code repositories and version control.

      • Requirements :

      Education & Experience :

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
    • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Odoo ERP (v17 or above).
    • Proven experience in both functional consulting and Odoo development.

      • Technical Skills :

    • Strong programming experience in Python and Odoo framework.
    • Understanding of Odoo ORM, models, views, and controllers.
    • Experience with Git or other version control systems.
    • Familiarity with REST APIs and integrations.

      • Functional Skills :

    • In-depth knowledge of ERP business processes and workflows.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to gather and document requirements.
    • Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments is a plus.

      • Soft Skills :

    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
    • Ability to work independently and within a team.
    • Strong time management and multitasking abilities.
    • Customer-focused with a consultative approach.

      • Preferred Certifications (optional) :

    • Odoo Certification (Functional or Technical)
    • PMP, Scrum, or other project management certifications
