BIM Coordinator

Overview

The Senior BIM Coordinator will play a pivotal role in managing Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes and ensuring seamless collaboration across multidisciplinary teams. This position requires expertise in BIM standards, clash detection, model coordination, and project delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in BIM methodologies, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to drive efficiency in large-scale construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead BIM coordination efforts across architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.
• Develop and enforce BIM execution plans (BEP) and project-specific standards.
• Conduct clash detection and resolution using Navisworks, Revit, or similar tools.
• Manage model integration, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
• Facilitate collaboration between design teams, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Oversee the production of high-quality BIM models, drawings, and documentation.
• Train and mentor junior BIM staff on best practices and software utilization.
• Liaise with project managers to ensure BIM deliverables align with project timelines.
• Stay updated on industry trends, software advancements, and BIM standards.
