Role Purpose The QC Manager is responsible for overseeing and ensuring that all

Motors are repaired, rewound, and overhauled

meet applicable quality standards, customer specifications, and international standards (e.g., IEC, IEEE, ATEX, ISO, NEMA, API, MSSD). This role ensures compliance at every stage of the Motor repair process, from initial inspection to final testing, while driving continuous improvement in workshop quality systems and practices.

Key Duties

Develop, implement, and monitor quality control procedures for Motor repair, rewinding, overhauling, and testing.

Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 : 2015, OEM standards, ATEX / IECEx requirements for Ex Motors, and customer-specific standards.

Supervise incoming inspection of Motors (visual, mechanical, electrical, insulation resistance, PI tests, etc.).

Ensure proper execution of in-process inspections (core loss testing, winding resistance, high-voltage testing, balancing, run outs, re-winding, machine-shop repair etc.).

Verify that repaired Motors meet both technical and safety compliance requirements.

Strong knowledge of Motor winding, insulation systems, and explosion-proof Motor standards.

Necessary Knowledge And Experience

Minimum 8 to 10 years in Motor repair, Motor testing and Motor QC only, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role will be considered only.

Education And Certification Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in electrical / mechanical engineering or equivalent
