Senior Project Controls Manager

The Senior Project Controls Manager will lead the project controls function, implementing systems and processes to track project progress, forecast costs, monitor schedules, and manage change. The role requires strong technical expertise in project controls, extensive experience in large infrastructure projects, and the ability to coordinate across multidisciplinary teams.

The project involves large-scale land development with civil infrastructure, utilities, and transport networks. The Senior Project Controls Manager will ensure effective planning, monitoring, and reporting of project cost, schedule, and performance to support timely and successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the program controls, planning and implementation, including coordinating high-level resources, schedules and budgets in line with Program objectives.
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between stakeholders.
• Lead the preparation and review of options for phased deliverable to meet Program milestones.
• Lead the preparation and review of master Level 1, 2 & 3 schedules including monitoring progress against specific schedules provided by 3rd party appointed Consultants including but not limited to PMO, PMC and Contractor.
• Lead the preparation and implementation of Program level monthly reports & dashboards.
• Lead the preparation and implementation of Program level KPI performance indicators, compliance, improvements and risks.
• Prepare and provide technical support for Program presentations.
• Support the preparation of Pre-construction Constructability Plan for executing construction activities.
• Develop, implement, and maintain project control systems for cost, schedule, and performance monitoring.
• Prepare project schedules, budgets, and forecasts; track progress against baseline plans.
• Analyze project performance, identify deviations, and recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate with design, civil, MEP, utilities, traffic, and other teams to ensure accurate project reporting.
• Manage change control processes, including evaluation of scope changes, schedule impacts, and cost implications.
• Prepare regular reports, dashboards, and executive summaries for senior management and client updates.
• Conduct risk and contingency analysis in collaboration with Project & Risk Management.
• Mentor and guide project control engineers and junior staff.
• Ensure adherence to project standards, methodologies, and regulatory compliance.
