Expected Qualifications and Experience : BS in Chemical Engineering with 10-15 years of relevant experience Basic knowledge of developing HMB, PFDs, P&IDs, MSDs Ability to perform hydraulic calculations and equipment sizing Basic knowledge of relief and blowdown calculations Experience in process simulation development Typical Responsibilities : Developing safety philosophy documents (firewater & process safety) Conducting flare radiation analysis using Flaresim or similar software Performing hydrocarbon dispersion analysis with DNV Phast Determining safety equipment requirements (e.g., eyewash stations, safety showers) Planning plant escape and evacuation procedures and layouts Performing Quantitative Risk Assessments (QRA) using Safeti Designing firefighting systems for buildings and equipment Hydraulics calculations for fire networks using Pipenet or similar software Creating fire system P&IDs (firewater network and pumps) Designing coverage layouts for hydrants and monitors Participating in safety workshops such as PHA, HAZOP, SIL / LOPA Disclaimer : Naukrigulf.com is a platform connecting jobseekers and employers.
