Responsibilities
- Preserve cleanliness and an outstanding appearance within the Front Counter. Project a professional image in greeting and serving customers.
- Ensure all sales targets are met or exceeded. Manage cash and float accurately. Use the SPS system to finish AWBs in line with business criteria.
- Ensure perfect shipment standards are satisfied at all times. Maintain appropriate levels of pamphlets and tolls on screen. Use sound reasoning in conditions of uncertainty.
- Deliver accurate information to customers and provide guidance on delivery approval and carriage. Screen all deliveries prior to approval and take action against DGA shipments. Hold consignee to collect shipments as appropriate.
- Ensure all equipment remains in working order (card, weighing, computer). Record packing details from the SPS accurately at the end of each day.
- Interpret stakeholder needs and respond to unspoken requirements where applicable.
Qualifications
