Siemens Energy As a Generator Field Service Engineer at Siemens Energy, your day will be filled with hands-on maintenance, repair, and modification of large steam and gas turbine generators at customer power plants across KSA and internationally. You will lead and supervise maintenance crews, ensuring that all activities adhere to Siemens Energy’s quality and EHS standards while fostering a culture of safety on-site. Collaborating closely with project managers and customer representatives, you will conduct detailed inspections, provide technical support, and prepare comprehensive reports, all while contributing to the efficient and cost-effective execution of projects.

Responsibilities

Maintain effective communication with FS Operations Managers, project managers, and customer representatives.

Ensure compliance with Siemens Energy quality and EHS standards during all project activities.

Supervise maintenance crews in the disassembly, inspection, and repair of turbine generators.

Lead job site safety programs and conduct thorough site surveys to develop maintenance plans.

Prepare detailed reports on job activities and support project management with scheduling and resource planning.

Identify potential delays and implement strategies to minimize their impact on project timelines.

What you bring

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

5-10 years of experience in generator engineering, with supervisory experience.

Willingness to travel extensively (200-250 days per year) for assignments lasting 2 to 10 weeks.

Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

Proven problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work effectively under pressure.

Experience in a multicultural environment, demonstrating sensitivity to diverse cultural needs.
