Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor the manufacturing, welding, and assembly of steel structures
- Conduct quality control through Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), self-inspections, and quality documentation
- Ensure compliance with international standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 3834, ISO 45001, and relevant classification society rules
- Apply knowledge of welding techniques, welding procedures, non-destructive testing (NDT), and surface preparation
- Utilize nesting software and CAD / CAM tools (e.g., FORAN) for production planning and material optimization
- Contribute to the implementation of Occupational Risk Prevention (ORP) measures at an intermediate level
- Interpret technical drawings and collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams
- Manage and report using SAP and standard office tools (Excel, Word, etc.)
Your profile & personality
Degree in Naval Architecture or Technical Naval EngineeringMinimum of 6 years of experience in the manufacturing and assembly of steel structures in the naval or industrial sectorSolid understanding of welding standards, fabrication processes, and quality assurance in industrial environmentsFamiliarity with ISO standards (9001, 3834, 45001) and classification society guidelinesProficient with tools such as FORAN, SAP, and Microsoft OfficeEnglish level B2 minimum required (advanced level preferred)Must be in Saudi Arabia or willing to relocateSoft skills
