Pastry Chef

Design and prepare a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods for the restaurant and events. Ensure all desserts are prepared according to recipes and presentation standards. Manage inventory of baking supplies and ingredients, placing orders as necessary. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry kitchen and equipment. Collaborate with the culinary team to create seasonal menus and special dessert offerings. Train and mentor junior pastry staff, providing guidance on techniques and presentation. Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques into the pastry offerings. Conduct taste tests and quality checks to ensure all products meet the restaurant\'s standards. Develop and implement new dessert recipes to attract and retain customers. Participate in food cost control and budgeting for the pastry section. Preferred Candidate

Proven experience as a Pastry Chef in a high-volume kitchen. Strong knowledge of baking techniques and pastry arts. Creativity and a passion for creating innovative dessert presentations. Excellent time management skills and ability to work under pressure. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Good communication skills, both verbal and written. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays. Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
