Civil Lab Technician(Steel & Concrete)

Job Description

The Lab Technician in the Testing department is responsible for conducting various laboratory tests analyzing samples and ensuring accurate and timely reporting of results. This role involves working with sensitive equipment maintaining lab safety standards and supporting geotechnical research and development.

Key Responsibilities :

• Sample Management : Receive label and safely store samples for testing.
• Testing and Analysis : Perform tests according to standard procedures record data and report findings.
• Concrete & Steel Sampling : Conduct concrete and steel sampling at sites including concrete coring from existing structures.
• Equipment Maintenance : Clean calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment.
• Safety Compliance : Follow all safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Documentation : Maintain accurate records of tests analyses and equipment maintenance.
• Collaboration : Work closely with scientists and other lab personnel to support geotechnical research projects.
