Job Purpose
To conduct and manage sales for allocated customers. To meet and exceed the agreed sales budget. To continuously increase market share and expand the customer base. Ensure timely collection of all due payments.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Manage and conduct sales of products both directly and in cooperation with existing sales operations, in line with the allocated budget and business plan.
- Expand the customer base in a structured and sustainable way. Identify and approach new customers, ensuring their creditworthiness and financial stability.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key accounts, including senior management. Identify and cultivate relationships with influencers involved in the sales and approval process.
- Build relationships with stakeholders of key projects, clients, and consultants.
- Identify, qualify, and quantify gaps in the market in terms of products and opportunities, and report findings to the relevant divisional product / market manager.
- Report customer complaints according to company procedures, ensuring corrective and preventive actions are documented and communicated to the customer.
- Examine warranty issues with customers and handle major claims; meet with customers and senior managers when necessary to negotiate settlements.
- Provide marketing input (markets, customers, competitors) to management and marketing departments to support promotional and communication plans.
- Conduct competitor analysis and ensure relevant departments are informed.
- Produce monthly reports highlighting major projects, orders, competition, key market information, and any customer complaints.
- Identify gaps and weaknesses in internal sales, customer service, and delivery processes.
- Prepare and submit monthly case histories and job references, including photographs and approvals.
- Forecast product demand and volume monthly and report to the line manager.
- Provide market feedback to management to request necessary resources.
- Maintain regular contact with key customers and major projects to monitor requirements, market conditions, and customer satisfaction.
Quality, Health, Safety & Environment (QHSE)
The job holder is responsible for understanding and applying all related IMS management procedures, incorporating both corporate and local IMS procedures relevant to their activities. Understanding of these procedures will be periodically assessed by the QHSE Manager.
