We are seeking a highly skilled

Architect Engineer

to join our team on National Guard building construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in both architecture and engineering, with a focus on designing and overseeing the construction of military and government buildings. This role requires a deep understanding of building codes, military regulations, and design standards, as well as the ability to ensure that projects are executed efficiently, cost-effectively, and on schedule. Responsibilities : Collaborate with project stakeholders to design functional and efficient architectural and engineering solutions for National Guard facilities. Prepare and review architectural plans, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with government and military requirements. Provide technical leadership in the development of design solutions, ensuring integration of architectural and engineering elements. Ensure that designs meet the required safety, environmental, and regulatory standards. Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and other design professionals during construction to ensure that designs are properly executed. Conduct site visits to monitor the progress of construction and address any issues related to design or technical specifications. Ensure the design of building systems (structural, HVAC, electrical, plumbing) complies with applicable military and government regulations. Prepare reports, proposals, and design documentation to support bidding and approval processes. Assist in the preparation of cost estimates and evaluate the financial feasibility of design options. Review and approve design modifications, ensuring they remain in line with the overall project objectives and budget. Requirements : 10 years of experience in architectural and engineering design, preferably with a focus on government, military, or large-scale building projects. Strong knowledge of military construction regulations, building codes, and project specifications. Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, etc.) and engineering tools. In-depth knowledge of structural, mechanical, and electrical systems in building construction. Experience with managing multiple aspects of building design, including sustainability, safety, and accessibility. Excellent communication and coordination skills to work with multidisciplinary teams. Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously. Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
