If you make 20,000 SAR a year living in Saudi Arabia, you will be taxed 2,000 SAR. That means that your net pay will be 18,000 SAR per year, or 1,500 SAR per month. Your average tax rate is 10.0% and your marginal tax rate is 10.0%. This marginal tax rate means that your immediate additional income will be taxed at this rate. For instance, an increase of 100 SAR in your salary will be taxed 10 SAR, hence, your net pay will only increase by 90 SAR.
A 1,000 SAR bonus will generate an extra 900 SAR of net incomes. A 5,000 SAR bonus will generate an extra 4,500 SAR of net incomes.
