Job description

Roles &Responsibilities

Leads Businessdevelopment efforts with NIQ clients in the region for NIQAnalytics solutions (P&P A&M RTM MMM) and isresponsible for the commercial plan development and execution. Keypriorities include :

  • Build and grow therelationships and business size with the Clients by the systematicnetworking proactively identifying sales opportunities based onclient strategic priorities and expanding business with theexisting client portfolio (selling new / renewing existingcontracts)
  • Close collaboration with theDelivery COE team to drive seamless delivery toclients.
  • Ensuring healthy sales pipeline andaccurate forecasting
  • Strong Sales hunting andsales closure attitude with demonstrated past experience in B2Bpreferably FMCG / Research

Success willrequire :

  • Strong salesleadership including prospecting building a pipeline movingopportunities through the sales cycle; proposing presenting anddiscussing solutions with key personas on clientside
  • Ability to build enduring relationshipswith the client truly passionate relationshipdeveloper
  • Strong affiliation to Sales Personas& develops sales strategies tosuit

  • UnderstandingClient Needs

  • Has a deepunderstanding of customer business around (pricing assortmentdistribution and execution) and can reframe and challenge the waycustomers view their businesses
  • Clearlyunderstands the needs of different personas at the client end SalesCommercial Directors Revenue Management Category Management andRetailers and how a particular solution can deliveroutcomes.
  • Available during final presentationof results to ensure client satisfaction actionable recommendationsand additional opportunitydetection
  • SalesManagement

  • Able toidentify and clearly deliver the value of certain solutions to theclient stake holders.
  • Follows and own thesales / negotiation process follows the commitments building theclear comprehensive proposals timely followupsetc.
  • Comfortable negotiating with seniorclients and knows what levers to use. Clearly links the value ofNielsenIQ products and solutions with the price to overcomeobjections.
  • Preempts stakeholder objections andpushes the client to a favorableoutcome.
  • Planning andForecasting

  • Owns thebusiness plan for the responsibility area (group ofclients / solutions) provides clear estimations and forecast of therevenue results for short / mid / longterm.
  • Team ManagementandCollaboration

  • Relentlesscuriosity to learn from & share with Analytics peers fromown market and beyond
  • Works continuously withinternal stakeholders such as ADs Commercial Leaders PL DeliveryCOE team & other Analytics teams to ensure that leads andopportunities are picked up pertinent information about clients isshared and the relevant people are consulted and / or informed of keyactivity on anaccount.
  • Qualifications :

  • 812 years ofexperience in CPG Sales Trade Marketing Retailer Key AccountMerchandising.
  • Bachelors Degree MBApreferred
  • Knowledge of sales processes in CPGcompanies customers and modern and traditionalmarkets.
  • Good knowledge of NielsenIQ productsservices and data preferred
  • Digital knowledgeMicrosoft Dynamics
  • Excellent business English (local language) both verbal and written
  • Provensales acumen
  • Expertise in (application of) oneof NielsenIQ solutions in Analytics is aplus
  • Excellent problemsolving skillssolutionoriented and good analyticalskills
  • Very good clientfacing andcommunication / presentation skills
  • Financialunderstanding (eg. P&L EBITDA) and how this relates tobusiness success
