Roles and responsibilities

We are looking for acompetent Production Assistant to support all aspects of film or TVproduction. The crew will count on you for various crucial tasks,from organizing sets to distributing scripts to crowdcontrol.

The goal is to ensure production getson smoothly andproblem-free.

Responsibilities

Helpprepare the set with lights, props, equipment etc.

Assistcostume designers, directors, camera people and other crewmembers

Print and distribute daily paperwork (e.g.scripts, call sheets)

Escort actors around the filmingarea and coordinate extras

Conduct crowd control byputting up signs, directing pedestrians away from filming, lockdown sets etc.

Act as a runner distributing messages oritems within film crew and cast

Perform administrativework (answering phones, paperwork etc.)

Undertake errandsas assigned

Support ProductionOperations :

Assist in the preparation, setup, andexecution of production processes.

Provide logistical andoperational support to ensure smooth productionworkflows.

Respond promptly to the needs of productionstaff and supervisors.

Material and EquipmentHandling :

Help with the movement, organization,and inventory of raw materials and finished goods.

Ensureequipment is clean, functional, and ready for use.

Reportany issues with tools or machinery to the productionsupervisor.

Desiredcandidate profile

Proven experienceas a production assistant or a passion for theindustry

Knowledge of terminology will beappreciated

Computer savvy

Excellentorganizational and multi-tasking ability

Resourcefulnessand problem-solving

A team player with greatcommunication skills

Physical strength andstamina

A valid driver’s license

Highschool diploma; Relevant training (e.g. production courses) will bean advantage

Basic technical skills to operate productionmachinery or equipment.

Strong organizational skills tohandle multiple tasks efficiently.

Basic math skills formeasurements or inventory counts.

SoftSkills :

Strong communication skills to coordinatewith team members and supervisors.
