Jacobs is seeking a talented Electrical Design Engineer to join our Buildings & Logistics team based from our office in Riyadh. Responsibilities
- Develop electrical design concepts and detailed drawings for electrical systems including low voltage (LV), medium voltage (MV), lighting, power, emergency, ELV, and life safety systems.
- Perform engineering calculations such as load estimation, voltage drop, fault current, and cable sizing using software tools like ETAP, Dialux, and Excel.
- Coordinate electrical services design with other disciplines (mechanical, architectural, structural) to ensure seamless integration.
- Attend design coordination meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors to present designs and resolve issues.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new technologies, and regulatory changes in electrical building services.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Building Services Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Built Environment Engineering from a recognized university.3+ years of experience in electrical building services design.Provide support to senior engineers and / or senior designers in the ongoing determination of building services requirements.Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, Revit MEP, HAP, Elite, or similar).Ability to produce well-presented reports is essential.Revit experience is preferred.#J-18808-Ljbffr
