Responsibilities
Monitor contractors’ work and ensure adherence to approved schedules and plans. Follow up on the supply of materials and equipment, ensuring compliance with specifications and delivery deadlines. Coordinate with ports to monitor the entry and exit of materials and ensure proper procedures. Inspect incoming truck loads before unloading to verify compliance with specifications. Oversee disposal of construction waste at the authorized landfill and document the process with confirmation certificates. Monitor the entry and exit of trucks. Follow up on backfilling, infrastructure works, construction, and finishing activities. Prepare periodic reports on progress, challenges, and observations. Support the management team with documentation, schedules, and contract follow-up. Required Skills and Experience
Minimum of 3 years’ practical experience in the contracting or construction sector. Knowledge of procurement and contracting procedures. Strong organizational and follow-up skills. Quick decision-making ability and accuracy in inspection and quality assurance. Ability to review reports and raise observations. Proficiency in MS Office applications, email correspondence, and documentation. Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders, especially visiting government supervisors. Seniority level
