الوصف الوظيفيSupport the lead discipline engineer in coordinating technical resolution, ensuring compliance by contractors, and ensuring work follows drawings, specifications, standards, schedule and ES&H plans. Coordinate across disciplines and with Engineering to provide timely, accurate information for the Construction teams. Monitor contractor compliance, report on project status, schedule and change management systems. Assist the Lead Engineer with site-based technical coordination with contractors, engineers, clients and stakeholders. Review look‑ahead schedules, commodity charts, resource charts, engineering deliverables and material delivery schedules to ensure continuous construction front availability. Verify compliance with permit and license requirements. Organize meetings per the lead engineer’s request, take minutes and follow up on actions. Provide feedback on contractor submittals, technical queries, field change documents and other technical documents including drawings and as‑built drawings. Ensure all materials and equipment on site comply with international standards and technical specifications. Ensure systematic and complete closure of the project. Maintain effective relationships with other functional departments and coordinate all jobsite contractual activities. Coordinate and monitor interface with other contractors and review contractors’ meetings notes and daily reports. Bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent) and 2‑5 years of relevant experience, or 6‑9 years of relevant work experience. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills at all levels. Ability to work effectively under pressure with changing priorities and deadlines. Demonstrated ability to influence outcomes and appropriately escale issues. Self‑starter, highly motivated, and skilled in identifying, analysing, and solving problems. Prior related experience in the Middle East is highly preferred. Project Overview
Bechtel has played a major role in some of the world’s busiest and most complex airport projects, including Greenfield and Brownfield developments in the GCC. We are currently seeking candidates with aviation, transportation or complex public building project experience to provide project management consultancy services (technical, commercial and construction management) for a major infrastructure project in Riyadh.
Job Summary
As an Electrical Field Engineer in the Project Field Engineering (PFE) group, you will support work planning and packaging, material management, quantity verification and validation, safety and quality control, technical inspection and testing knowledge, and system turnover coordination. Your work will ensure field engineering activities operate safely, are complete, and conform to quality standards and project requirements.
