Wood is currently seeking a Security System Engineer to support our projects business. The role involves contributing to the development of a new gold mine and processing facility at a remote site in Saudi Arabia.

Education : Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Communication Engineering.

Experience :

• Minimum 15–20 years in Security Systems Engineering, specifically within the Oil & Gas or Mining sectors in Saudi Arabia.
• HCIS Expertise : Proven track record of delivering projects under the Saudi Supreme Commission for Industrial Security regulations.
• Industry Knowledge : Deep understanding of Ma’aden’s standards and Wood’s IPMT delivery methodology.
• Technical Skills : Proficiency in security CAD drawings, risk assessment methodologies, and integrated security software platforms.
• Strong command of English (Technical Writing) and preferably Arabic (for local authority coordination).
• Ability to challenge EPC contractor designs to ensure cost-effectiveness without compromising HCIS compliance.
• Leadership skills to manage multi-disciplinary security vendors
