Job Summary

The Costing Engineer will be responsible for analyzing project costs, developing cost estimates, and providing cost management support throughout the project lifecycle. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can collaborate with various teams to ensure financial objectives are met while maintaining project quality and efficiency. Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain accurate cost estimates for projects Analyze and report on project costs to identify trends and variances Collaborate with project managers and engineers to gather necessary information for cost estimation Prepare detailed cost reports and presentations for stakeholders Monitor and control project budgets to ensure financial targets are achieved Assist in the evaluation and negotiation of contracts and subcontractor agreements Support continuous improvement initiatives related to cost management processes. Required Qualifications

3-5 years of experience in cost engineering or a related field Strong understanding of cost estimation techniques and tools Proven experience in budget management and financial analysis. Preferred Qualifications

Experience with project management software and cost estimation tools Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to cost management. Skills And Competencies

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong communication and interpersonal abilities Attention to detail and accuracy in work Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Education and Certifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, or a related field Professional certification in cost management or engineering (e.g., CCE, CEM) is a plus.
