The Cluster Director of Communications is responsible for overseeing all communication strategies and initiatives for Rosewood Red Sea and Rosewood Amaala, ensuring alignment with Rosewood’s luxury brand identity. This role involves developing and executing integrated communication plans, managing public relations, and enhancing brand visibility to drive guest engagement and loyalty. The Director will lead a communications team, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, and ensure consistent messaging across both properties while adhering to local regulations and cultural sensitivities in Saudi Arabia.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies for Rosewood Red Sea and Rosewood Amaala to elevate brand presence and reputation in local and global markets.
• Lead, mentor, and inspire a communications team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and excellence across both properties.
• Oversee the creation and distribution of all marketing collateral, press releases, social media content, and digital campaigns, ensuring alignment with Rosewood’s luxury standards.
• Manage media relations, including building relationships with journalists, influencers, and media outlets to secure positive coverage for both properties.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as Sales, Marketing, and Operations, to ensure cohesive messaging and seamless guest experiences.
• Monitor and manage the communications budget, including expenses for advertising, PR campaigns, and content creation, to ensure cost-effective outcomes.
• Ensure all communications adhere to local Saudi Arabian regulations, cultural norms, and Rosewood’s global brand guidelines.
• Develop crisis communication plans and manage reputation risks, addressing any issues promptly to protect the brand’s image.
• Oversee the creation of engaging content for websites, newsletters, and social media platforms, ensuring consistency in tone, style, and luxury positioning.
• Implement digital marketing strategies, including SEO, SEM, and social media campaigns, to drive brand awareness and bookings.
• Track and analyze communication metrics, such as media coverage, social media engagement, and website traffic, to measure campaign effectiveness and report to senior management.
• Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging communication technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
• Promote sustainability and corporate social responsibility initiatives through communications, aligning with Rosewood’s commitment to environmental and community responsibility.
