Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Forecast daily, weekly, and monthly cash flow positions and execute necessary funding actions. Manage the company's banking relationships and negotiate banking services and fees.
- Manage the company's debt portfolio, including compliance with covenants. Execute short-term investment strategies for surplus cash in accordance with the company's investment policy.
- Develop and implement strategies to hedge the company's exposure to foreign exchange (FX), interest rate, and commodity price risks. Monitor market conditions and recommend appropriate hedging instruments.
- Maintain and enhance treasury policies, procedures, and internal controls. Evaluate and implement treasury management systems (TMS) to improve efficiency and reporting.
- Support strategic initiatives, including capital raising, project financing, and mergers & acquisitions (M&A) activities from a treasury perspective.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements in Saudi Arabia (SAMA, CMA). Prepare detailed treasury reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
Must-Have Skills and Qualifications
A recognized professional qualification such as Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Certified Treasury Professional (CTP), or equivalent is essential.Proven, hands-on experience in cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, and financial risk management (FX, interest rates). Experience with hedging instruments (forwards, swaps, options) is non-negotiable.Demonstrable experience in managing corporate debt facilities, including revolving credit facilities (RCF), term loans, and compliance reporting.A strong track record of successfully negotiating with banks and managing complex banking structures.Must have prior professional experience working in Saudi Arabia or the GCC region. Familiarity with the local banking landscape, regulatory bodies (SAMA - Saudi Central Bank, CMA), and financial regulations is critical.Experience within utilities, oil & gas, construction, or a similarly large-scale, capital-intensive industry is highly preferred. Understanding the unique cash flow cycles and project financing needs of such sectors is a key advantage.Exceptional analytical and financial modeling skills in Excel are required to build complex cash flow models and analyze various financial scenarios.Hands-on experience with a leading Treasury Management System (TMS) or advanced ERP treasury modules (e.g., SAP, Oracle).Ability to move beyond operational tasks and contribute to the company's strategic financial decisions.Treasury involves large financial transactions where accuracy is paramount. Zero tolerance for error.Must be able to clearly articulate complex financial concepts and risks to senior management and non-financial stakeholders.A self-starter who can identify risks and opportunities early and take initiative to address them.Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. An MBA or Master’s degree is a strong plus.A minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in corporate treasury, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial capacity.What We Offer
