Design Manager (Infrastructure)

This unique project consists of major mixed-use development including sports facilities, entertainment, and arts along with all associated infrastructure. Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day design activities across assigned projects.

Manage and coordinate the overall design process from concept through to construction and hand-over

Define and monitor design deliverables, ensuring submissions are complete, accurate and on time.

Deliver design outputs aligned with strategic KPIs, programme, and budget requirements.

Implement and maintain design management systems, ensuring legal and contractual compliance.

Lead safety, quality, and sustainability standards across all design activities.

Resolve client design issues and maintain stakeholder relationships.

Support business development through technical input and design leadership.

Qualifications

A degree and background in Architecture or Engineering

Membership of RIBA, MICE, CIBSE, CIOB, RICS, CIAT or equivalent demonstrable professional or personal development is preferred.

Experience in the successful design and delivery of Infrastructure related projects

Knowledge of building safety legislation, building standards, construction contracts, professional appointments and health and safety legislation.
