- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, management reports, and regulatory filings.
- Month/Year-End Close: Manage and execute month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.General Ledger & Reconciliations: Maintain the general ledger and reconcile balance sheet accounts, bank statements, and sub-ledgers.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist with budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Compliance & Audits: Ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS, tax regulations, and assist with internal/external audits.
- Process Improvement: Review and improve accounting processes, systems, and controls for efficiency and accuracy.
- Analysis & Support: Provide financial analysis, support senior management, and advise on financial health.
- Team Leadership: May supervise or mentor junior accountants and accounting staff.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Proven experience in accounting, often 5 - 10 years.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS).
- Proficiency with accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with high accuracy.
