Position Title Supply Chain Manager (Procurement & Logistics)

Responsibilities

Develop and implement end‑to‑end logistics strategies that align with business goals and operational plans.

Design and continuously optimize logistics network models (central warehouse, regional warehouses, stores, and production facilities) to ensure agility, efficiency, and scalability.

Develop KPIs and cost‑control mechanisms to track transportation, warehousing, and clearance performance.

Manage the full import process for all goods sourced internationally (raw materials, packaging, equipment, and finished goods).

Oversee and coordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and shipping lines to ensure timely and compliant clearance of shipments.

Ensure all import documentation (invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, SASO / Saber, SFDA, etc.) are accurate and compliant with Saudi regulations.

Maintain strong relationships with regulatory bodies (Customs Authority, SFDA, MOCI, SASO) to ensure smooth operations and adherence to trade compliance standards.

Implement and monitor trade compliance procedures to ensure adherence to local and international trade laws, including HS code classification, import permits, and product registration.

Keep abreast of changes in customs, import / export, and tax regulations and ensure internal processes are updated accordingly.

Provide guidance to procurement and finance teams regarding landed cost, duties, and compliance documentation.

Plan and manage distribution from central warehouse to regional hubs and coffee shops across the Kingdom.

Optimize delivery routes, fleet utilization, and scheduling to ensure timely replenishment and reduce logistics costs.

Develop and maintain service‑level agreements (SLAs) for delivery accuracy, timing, and cost per drop.

Manage third‑party logistics (3PL) providers for transport and warehousing services when applicable.

Monitor freight rates, storage costs, and handling expenses to identify cost‑saving opportunities.

Lead initiatives to reduce demurrage, detention, and idle transport costs.

Analyze logistics data and prepare monthly reports on performance, costs, and KPIs (on‑time delivery, cost per shipment, clearance time, etc.).

Utilize and enhance logistics systems to improve visibility, traceability, and efficiency.

Ensure accurate data flow between logistics, procurement, production, and finance systems.

Enforce safe handling, loading, and transport practices in line with company and regulatory standards.

Ensure logistics operations comply with quality, food safety, and environmental standards.

Conduct regular audits of transport partners and documentation.

Lead and develop the logistics team, ensuring strong accountability, performance, and cross‑functional collaboration.

Build strong partnerships with internal departments (Procurement, Production, QA, Finance, Operations) and external partners.

Provide training and mentoring to enhance the team’s technical and compliance capabilities.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).

8+ years of experience in logistics operations, including import / export, customs clearance, and distribution within FMCG, F&B, or retail industries.

Strong knowledge of Saudi customs regulations, SASO / Saber, SFDA, and trade compliance processes.

Proven experience in warehouse and distribution management (preferably in multi‑site retail networks).

Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

Strong leadership abilities with a track record in cost optimization and process improvement.
