Halian Our Client :

Our client a leading FMCG business in KSA are seeking an Accounts Manager to join their team.

This person will lead and manage the full spectrum of accounting and financial activities, ensuring the accuracy of financial records, compliance with local and international standards, and the delivery of reliable financial reports to support decision-making.

This role also includes aligning accounting operations with sales, inventory, and manufacturing processes in a fast-paced

FMCG

environment.

Your Responsibilities :

Accounting Operations & Financial Management

Manage daily accounting operations including journal entries, sales, purchases, expenses, and asset recording. Ensure accuracy and proper documentation of all financial transactions in alignment with internal policies. Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.

Reporting & Analysis

Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, Cash Flow). Analyze key financial indicators such as profit margins, inventory turnover, and liquidity ratios. Develop and monitor annual budgets, providing variance analysis and performance insights.

Accounts Receivable & Payable

Oversee customer billing, collections, and AR aging analysis. Manage supplier payments and AP reconciliation while maintaining strong relationships with vendors. Monitor credit terms and cash flow to ensure business stability.

Inventory & Cost Management

Coordinate with production teams for periodic inventory checks. Calculate production costs, conduct variance analysis, and support inventory control processes.

Compliance & Taxation

Ensure compliance with local tax laws including VAT, Zakat, and Income Tax regulations. Handle tax return filings and coordinate with external advisors and auditors as needed. Lead internal and external audits by preparing accurate financial documentation.

Team Leadership & Systems

Lead and mentor the accounting team to ensure high performance and skills development. Coordinate with IT and ERP providers to ensure smooth financial system operations and data accuracy

Your Qualifications :

Experience : Minimum 6 years in accounting / finance within the FMCG sector, preferably in manufacturing environments. Education : Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus. Systems : Strong working knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Proactive, hands-on, and results-driven with a strong sense of ownership. High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure. Arabic speaking is a must
