Responsibilities

Technical Expertise : Possess understanding of Siemens Automation systems, including configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization, and provide advanced technical support to customers.

Industry-Specific Knowledge : Leverage your experience in water, oil, and gas, and petrochemical industries to understand the unique challenges and requirements of these sectors and provide tailored solutions.

Customer Service Excellence : Ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction by addressing complex issues, optimizing Siemens Automation systems, and exceeding customer expectations.

Service Operations Support : Collaborate with the service operations team to address related service requests, incidents, and escalations and meet service level agreements (SLAs).

Problem Resolution : Independently resolve intricate customer issues related to Siemens Automation systems and provide guidance to less experienced engineers when needed.

Documentation and Reporting : Maintain detailed records of Siemens Automation service activities, including configurations, installations, and resolutions.

Prepare technical reports for management and customers.

Training and Development : Assist in training and mentoring less experienced engineers, sharing your expertise in Siemens Automation systems and industry-specific knowledge. Technical Training : Stay current with Siemens products and services, attend relevant training sessions, and keep up-to-date with industry advancements.

Collaboration : Work closely with customers and cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for system improvements and performance optimization.

Safety : Promote a safety-first culture, ensuring that all safety protocols are followed in the context of the service activities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field (e.g., electrical, automation, control system or related discipline).

A minimum of 2-5 years of hands-on experience in Siemens Automation systems is a must.

Profound technical knowledge of Siemens Automation systems, including configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization.

Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and under pressure, meeting deadlines and exceeding customer expectations.

Strong organizational and analytical skills.
