Originally founded in the UK in 1954 as Spencer & Partners, the company has now grown to include almost 1,000 members of staff, with major offices in London, Mexico, Colombia, Houston and Abu Dhabi.

Responsibilities

Day to day control of FEED / EPC electrical engineers in preparation of calculations, cable sizing, loads, SLDs, switch gear and interfaces, power system automation, etc.

Provide timely comments on FEED / EPC deliverables and ensure their implementation.

Oversee the design of electrical systems, including power distribution and lighting systems.

Ensure electrical designs comply with industry standards and regulations.

Review and approve electrical load calculations and system analysis.

Review and approve electrical engineering drawings and specifications.

Knowledge / Experience (Skills)

At least Twelve (12) years of experience; Six (6) of them within the field of Electrical engineering for major Oil and Gas / Petrochemical projects.

PMC experience at a similar role for at least several years is preferable.

Knowledge of Saudi Aramco Desktop Standard and procedures / practices is beneficial.

Previous exposure to construction and commissioning phases is beneficial but not mandatory.

Computer literate with all MS Packages, particularly Word and Excel proficient.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
