Overview

An experienced Cloud Security Architect who has minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience. Experience implementing cloud cyber security in a highly secure environment like Government Organization is a must. GCP Architect shall meet or exceed the minimum qualifications set forth below :

  • Cloud security in general and in supporting the deployment of GCP at several multi-national companies and Government organizations.
  • Develop organization policies based on regulatory requirements, international standards and internal policies. Deploy solutions to detect configuration drifts.
  • Develop security baselines for Infrastructure as a Service and Platform as a Service asset.
  • Architecting and implementing vulnerability scanning solutions for GCP using native or third-party solutions.
  • Extensive experience deploying secure configurations and architecture for GCP and implementing related cyber security solutions on GCP.
  • Extensive experience in designing authentication, access and authorization models and implementing granular roles in GCP with least privilege concept.
  • Design, development and deployment of Infrastructure-as-code approaches, role-specific automation tools and associated programming languages.
  • Architecting and securing continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI / CD) pipelines for DevSecOps.
  • Architecting and deploying End-Point protection solutions
  • Architecting solutions to implement continuous cyber security monitoring in GCP by combining data from cloud and on-premises monitoring systems.
  • Forensics and incident response pertaining to GCP.
  • Securing Scalable architectures, including APIs, microservices and PaaS.
  • Extensive Experience in architecture and deployment of Data Security technologies like key management services, encryption, Data Leakage and secure cloud storage.
  • Network Architecture of Cloud networking like Subnetting, Route Tables, Security Groups, VPC, VPC Peering, Transit Gateways, optimizing for egress costs
  • Landing Zone Architecture and implementing and Automation solutions
  • Policy guardrails and implementation using policy-as-code approaches, GCP native policy tools

    • Qualifications

  • Minimum ten (10) years of relevant experience in cloud security.
  • Experience implementing cloud security in highly secure environments (e.g., Government organizations).
  • GCP architecture experience with secure configurations and related cyber security solutions.
  • Experience designing authentication, access control and least-privilege roles in GCP.
  • Experience with IaC, automation tools, and DevSecOps practices.
  • Experience with CI / CD security, endpoint protection, and continuous cyber security monitoring in GCP.
  • Experience with data security technologies (encryption, KMS, secure storage) and API / microservices security.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud networking concepts (VPC, subnets, routing, peering, Transit Gateways) and egress cost optimization.
  • Experience with policy-as-code and GCP policy tools.
